About Alex
Alex is a professionally trained actor, singer, and comedian based in New York and Chicago. Her portfolio of work includes contemporary and classical stage, film acting, and improvisational and sketch comedy. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Acting at Northwestern University, class of 2025. She is an Equity Membership Candidate (EMC) and SAG eligible (SAG-E). Alex prioritizes joy, hard work, enthusiasm, and advocacy in all of her work.
Alex graduated from Wesleyan University in May 2019, where she received a BA in Theater (with a concentration in Acting) and Psychology.
In addition to her education at Wesleyan and Northwestern, Alex studied at the Berkshire Theater Group, the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art, the William Esper Studio, Lesly Kahn and Company, SoHo Shakespeare Company, and with Bob Krakower. Alex has studied improvisational comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center, the Magnet Theater, and Logan Square Improv.

I saw Hair on Broadway at 11 years old and promptly decided that I wanted to become an actor.
Lenny Bruce is my third cousin!
My family is my everything.
I went to Skidmore College before transferring to Wesleyan University.
I practiced Tae Kwon Do for 8 years. I was on the swim team for 3 weeks in junior high. I was on the fencing team for 1 day in high school.
Some of my favorite movies include Elf, Ratatouille, and School of Rock.
I plan on becoming a certified intimacy choreographer.
I am Irish and Jewish.
